Often times people discuss going on a trip together but the trip never gets executed. Trip planning is frustrating due to all the thinking and organizing that goes with it

Findings

There are many apps that can be used for trip planning however they all have their flaws. Users would benefit from a singular app that can provide multiple services and is easy to use. With more data from users, we can figure out exactly what features they need, and which features are not necessary.

Usability Testing Results

Findings

•Good usability and simple for users

•Flow was easy to navigate with few errors

•Icons were familiar and easy to understand

•RSVP colors were difficult to see and understand

•Chat button was confusing whether it was individual or group

•Plus sign to get to poll did not stand out

Revisions

•Added red, green, and grey icons to show user’s responses for RSVP

•Changed plus button from black outline to purple fill to give it contrast

•Moved chat button location to the top of the page to separate it from profiles

•Changed chat button icon

Reflection

I am proud to have completed my first ever UX/UI design project with Design Lab. Reflecting on this project, I believe I have learned a lot and I look forward to enhancing my skills for future projects
